• morphology – grammar

• pragmatics – the social skills of language.

 

difficulty following instructions

• listening to and understanding stories when they are read aloud

• following and/or participating in conversations

• answering questions appropriately

• retelling a story or event

• having a limited vocabulary for age

• difficulty in social situations

• difficulty participating in class discussions

• poor grammar skills
